‘End Bullying’ Urges Father After Son Brutally Beaten, Skull Fractured at Friend’s Home
Jared Watts, 17, and three other teenagers were playing Xbox games on Sunday, Jan. 21, when the others decided to beat Watts up over $10 he owed to one of them.
He said two people pinned him to the ground as an 18-year-old “friend” repeatedly punched him in the face and head. He fell unconscious after about the seventh blow.
Watts’ parents found him on the sidewalk outside the house in a pool of his own blood.
“Unbelievable. As 11 people watched,” said the father David Watts, KTLA reported. “They robbed him, they beat him, fractured his skull.”
Ontario Police Department arrested the 18-year-old.
“I would love nothing else but to see that boy—that man—spend as much time in prison as possible,” David Watts said.
“End bullying. No child should ever be hurt,” the father said, choking up.
