To come up with a classic or something that is crowd pleasing, it requires the coordination and co-operation of all involved. This holds true to a certain extent even with high school performances.

The Dodge City High School Drill team, from Dodge City, Kansas, put on a show that left the crowd awestruck. The school’s basketball team made it to the finals of the competition, but it was the drill team who ultimately stole the limelight.

During halftime of the game, a video that has gone viral shows the team taking center court as a soloist begins singing the famous Leonard Cohen ballad “Hallelujah.”

Two girls from the group join in the singing, while the others begin to dance. The sight of the girls wearing light-up crowns and capes that turn into wings was definitely something that made them stand out.

However, the crowd had no idea that they were in for something even more spectacular until the lights went out.

The soft ballad that was playing quickly turned into a remixed version, and that’s when the onlookers realized that the show was no ordinary one.

Suddenly, the costumes began to light up, and the girls put on a mesmerizing light show along with an energetic dance sequence.

People who watched the show were spellbound with the wave of blue lights moving gracefully across the center court. With the lit-up crowns that looked like halos and dazzling blue wings, the girls danced with complete enthusiasm.
