PASADENA, Calif.—Divine Performing Arts put on another dazzling show of ancient Chinese culture. The audience in Los Angeles was entranced by the graceful dancers and delightful music brought forth by the critically acclaimed Chinese New Year Spectacular.

Greg, an engineering manager for a medical device company took some time to comment on the show.

His friend Kristen, a web designer, also slowed down during the cluttered intermission to answer some questions.

When asked about his take on the performance Greg said, “I like it very much. The one that shows the people personifying the opening of the flower was very nice. It was very nice visual effect. You could see it well from up here too. Visually pleasing and I have a lot of respect for the Chinese culture."

Kristen also shared her experience. “I like it very much, very entertaining. My favorite so far was the persecution dance [Heaven Awaits Us Despite Persecution] and the Monkey King dance [The Monkey King Triumphs] because I am familiar with that. I learned more about history and culture that I was not familiar with before.”

The Divine Performing Arts is taking on a global mission to bring back a truthful depiction of ancient Chinese culture to the modern world. They will perform more than two hundred and sixty shows around the world.
