Donald Trump uploaded a new attack ad against Hillary Clinton this week, saying “Hillary has bad judgment!”
The ad features the parents of three of the Americans killed in Benghazi on Sept. 11, 2012.
Toward the end, it shows Clinton laughing while Benghazi burns. According to AdWeek, it’s the “second time” Trump has used the footage of the former first lady laughing.
The ad appeared before Trump won in West Virginia and Nebraska, while Clinton lost both states to rival and Democratic U.S. Sen. Bernie Senators.
The attacks on Benghazi, which took place when Clinton was secretary of state, have become a focal point for her critics. In the attack, Chris Stevens, the U.S. ambassador to Libya, was killed.
Meanwhile, Fox News’ Megyn Kelly was also included in the ad.
The Obama administration initially claimed that the Benghazi attack was the result of protests due to an anti-Islamic film, “Innocence of Muslims,” before investigators found they were coordinated and planned by extremists. “We’ve seen rage and violence directed at American embassies over an awful Internet video,” Clinton in the video.
Clinton “lied to me. She told me it was the fault of the video,” says Patricia Smith, who is the mother of slain State Department worker Sean Smith, in the ad.
Trump has repeatedly attacked Clinton over how she handled the Benghazi attacks, saying she didn’t do enough to prevent them.
