Duane Chapman, known as A&E’s “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” said his sister has died, according to reports on Thursday, May 19.

Chapman said he’s devastated by the death of his sister Jolene Kay Martinez. She was 62.

Martinez “unexpectedly passed away from complications of pneumonia,” Chapman said on his Facebook page, adding that she was removed from life support on Monday.

“Jolene was a very strong Christian, and I am absolutely positively sure she’s in heaven right now,” Chapman added. “But in Hawaii we don’t say ‘goodbye,’ we say ‘Aloha Oe … until we meet, again,’ and I know I will see my sister, again, which gives all of us some comfort at this very sad time.”

She is survived by her two children and three siblings.
