TAINAN, Taiwan—The second performance of the Divine Performing Arts (DPA) in the Performance Hall, Tainan Municipal Cultural Center in Tainan concluded the afternoon of Feb 21. All performers responded to the curtain fall for the second time. The audience was moved by the pure and beautiful expression of traditional Chinese culture and the artistic style of the performance. Ms. Sun, principal of the Deguang Catholic Girls’ High School, watched the show. She said that the show was excellent.

“I think the show is creative. Take a look at the dancing, from the costumes to the acting. They really mastered the dancing.

“I haven’t seen this kind of backdrop they combined with the dancing. I think it’s great. It’s beautiful art and enjoyable.

“I think that students should enhance their artistic and cultural knowledge. Taiwan’s education only emphasizes studying, right? The mode of education in Taiwan is actually wrong. Kids should learn more about arts to enhance their spirituality. So I encourage students to watch the show,” said Ms. Sun.

Principal Sun said that she learned about the show from the media. At first, she wondered how such a show, performing Chinese culture, could be promoted in the United States and Europe. After watching the show, she said, “Such an excellent show will, of course, be loved by people in all walks of life.”
