This is why you shouldn’t text and drive.

Apparently a distracted driver crashed into a Hudson, Wisconsin, police cruiser, and it was captured on the cruiser’s dash camera.

Neither the driver or the officer were injured in the March 31 incident.

The Hudson Police Department released the video, saying that motorists should pay attention to the road at all times, Twincities.com reported.

“Both the officer and the other driver are OK,” Hudson police wrote on Facebook, “However, this accident could have been much, much worse.”

The video shows the driver veering over the center line and into the opposite lane before hitting the police cruiser head-on. The squad car tries to avoid the vehicle, but it wasn’t able to completely get out of the way.
