David Thibault, a Canadian singer, gave a perfect rendition of Elvis Presley’s “Blue Christmas,” and it has since gone viral.

Thibault, 16, from Quebec, sang and played the guitar on radio station CKOI 102.1.

The song left the radio station host in amazement, as it was captured on video.

But a number of commenters were also shocked.

“Is this Canada’s apology for creating Justin?” the top commenter quipped, referring to Canadian singer Justin Bieber. “I just hope he doesn’t end up like the last teen “prodigy” from Canada..” wrote another.

Added another: “WOW! BEST ELVIS I'VE EVER HEARD BEFORE! You can’t even really hear his French accent unless you really listen. I hope he hits it big in America.”

“Blue Christmas” was first recorded in 1948 by Doye O'Dell but Elvis later covered it in 1957

According to the Daily News, Thibault competes as an Elvis impersonator, complete with slicked back, black hair.
