Dance Teachers Association Director: ‘Every dancer’s smile was welcoming’

KAOHSIUNG, Taiwan—This summer, as The World Games 2009 will be held in Kaohsiung, the Kaohsiung City Dance Teachers Association, along with other prestigious dance groups will perform to promote the Games. Hung Huichao, director of Kaohsiung City Dance Teachers Association, took some time from her busy schedule to watch Shen Yun Performing Arts 2009 World Tour.

Shen Yun, a company devoted to creating a renaissance for Chinese traditional performing arts, gave a show for the second time on March 15 at Kaohsiung County Government Labor Affairs Bureau.

“The performers were all young. Their makeup was very natural and beautiful. It made people feel comfortable. Also, the costumes’ color coordination was gorgeous. I think the entire performance was great.”

She said that their very skilled and sensed that the performers harmonized well with one another. Every dancer’s smile was welcoming. She felt very content watching the show.

“I could see that Shen Yun made a lot of effort to find different themes and unearthed Chinese culture. The entire choreography, dance, and 3-D backdrops matched wonderfully. I truly admire them.”
