A runaway couple who sparked an Amber Alert by disappearing last month with three children has been apprehended and are now in a Canyon County, Idaho, jail.

Jason T. Simon, 38, the father of one of the children, 6-year-old Kadyn Simon, is facing 12 felony child pornography charges and one charge of felony child sexual abuse. He is being held on $1 million bond.

Sarah Joy Dunn, the adoptive mother of the other two—Kaylee Dunn, 9, and Lewis Dunn, 10—and Simon’s girlfriend, faces a felony charge of custodial interference and is being held on a $250,000 bond.

The couple had taken the three children and fled on June 2 to avoid sexual abuse charges against Simon. On June 13, an Amber Alert was issued in Idaho and Nevada for the children, who police believe may be victims of Simon.

Authorities eventually tracked down the couple via their financial card transactions, reported the Idaho Statesman. They were located and arrested at a Colorado campground on June 18, though they had been spotted a week earlier in Sparks, Nevada.

The preliminary hearings for Dunn and Simon are set for Aug. 3 and Aug. 16, respectively.

Kaylee and Lewis Dunn are currently back with their adoptive father, and Simon’s son is with a grandparent.
