CHICAGO— “It’s a very talented show, very talented dancers, singers and everything,” said Arvid Lindberg, CEO of Aqua-Bio Technology, a bio-technology company. His comments came after watching Shen Yun Performing Arts New York Company at the Civic Opera House on April 22.

Mr. Lindberg is from Norway. “I’m just visiting and very much appreciating it all,” he explained.

New York-based Shen Yun is visiting Chicago as well, bringing its full orchestra, its company of rigorously-trained classical Chinese dancers, and world-class singers to the Midwest.

“I thought it was very professional … this is very talented, you get the impression that this is professional,” Mr. Lindberg continued.

Shen Yun aims to revive and restore the lost traditions in China through classical Chinese dance and music.

Mr. Lindberg caught the authenticity of what Shen Yun is trying to achieve. In using one word to sum up his experience, he called it “genuine.”

He would absolutely recommend the show to his friends and colleagues.
