A crash on the Chicago Skyway on Wednesday night has closed all inbound lanes and left some cars crushed between semis.

WBBM radio reported that “a number of cars are crushed between semis” on the skyway, and that five ambulances were sent to the scene.

The city government said in an alert that all inbound lanes are closed and traffic is being diverted onto Stony Island Avenue at 79th Street.
