I have finally stopped crying tears of relief after finishing Conan Milner’s article on porn addiction. This behavior is much more dangerous than any number of atomic weapons could ever be. I have been married to a porn addict for forty years. After we had dated for five years, and we received this diagnosis. We have seen at least four therapists throughout our relationship and finally found one who was knowledgeable about this condition. As many addicts are prone to do, my husband hid his problem (or so he thought) until he became impotent and could no longer perform. He had never graduated to internet or film porn, real women, or any number of potentially illegal and destructive practices. but only used “acceptable” magazines. Many addicts have lost their jobs, their families, their friends, all of their resources, and even their freedom, when incarcerated, as a result of their acting out. My husband has refrained from acting out for almost 18 months, but still faces the deeper emotional and self-defeating internal threats from his behavior. This addiction has caused a vast problem in more marriages than we, as a society, can even begin to comprehend or believe. The fastest-growing demographic of new urology patients is men between the ages of 18 and 34—for impotence. One of the fastest-growing demographics for plastic surgeons is young women altering their genitals to resemble those parts shown by the female porn stars—because that is what young men want and expect to see. Porn shows sex without love, training this next generation of internet natives that this is what intimacy is all about. I am continuously astounded when parents don’t feel the need for parental controls on their youngsters’ (and I mean really young youngsters) cell phones, computers, and tablets. I am continually saddened to hear my friends state that they know no one who abuses the internet or other types of pornography, and certainly no one in their family would ever do such a thing. Please, Epoch Times, bring up this topic from time to time. There needs to be more aware of this life-destroying behavior.
I am not, in any way, prudish about sex, do not judge pornography, or feel the need to curtail freedom of speech. This, however, is an experiment gone awry, with no safety procedures in place, no predictions or studies to help us with results, and certainly not enough intellectual study happening to be of some warning to society.
Please feel free to edit, cut, rearrange any of my comments, if you choose to use this.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for providing, clear, concise, and unbiased news for today’s readers. I have searched high and low, and I’m so very grateful to have found and subscribed to The Epoch Times. I’m only sorry it’s taken me this long to find you. Well, here is to the beginning of a great and long-lasting relationship. You are my new, only go-to.
Article Two of the U.S. Constitution states “The President, Vice President, and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”
The current impeachment inquiry by the U.S. House of Representatives against President Trump is focusing on the allegation he tried to bribe and/or extort President Zelensky of Ukraine to investigate the Bidens in the runup to the 2020 election in exchange for $400 million in foreign aid to Ukraine. The investigation of the Bidens did not occur and the $400 million in aid was subsequently given to Ukraine. Therefore no bribery or extortion occurred.
But did President Trump’s actions meet the test of “high Crimes and Misdemeanors”?
The recent impeachment of presidents included Bill Clinton and Richard Nixon. Bill Clinton was impeached for perjury and obstruction of justice relative to the Monica Lewinsky affair. Richard Nixon was impeached as an outgrowth of the Watergate coverup and charged with obstruction of justice, abuse of power and defying subpoenas during the impeachment investigation. The House Judiciary Committee stated that “high Crimes and Misdemeanors” goes beyond crimes to include “behaving in a manner grossly incompatible with the proper function of the office and employing the power of the office for an improper purpose or personal gain.”
Going back to the Constitutional Convention of 1787 the founding fathers decided the phrase “high Crimes and Misdemeanors” provided “flexibility and guidance” in deciding on impeachable offenses, which references 400 years of practice in Great Britain.
Alexander Hamilton stated in the Federalist Papers that ” impeachment is directed at political offenses that proceed from … the abuse or violation of some public trust.” Echoing Hamilton, Justice Joseph Story in 1833 stated: “impeachable conduct is often purely political, and that no previous statute is necessary to authorize an impeachment for any official misconduct.”
Therefore, it appears the term “high Crimes and Misdemeanors” refers to officials in high office who commit offenses that violate their oaths of office and can consist of abuse of power. A Harvard Law Review succinctly stated, “The majority view is that a president can legally be impeached for intentional, evil deeds that drastically subvert the Constitution and involve unforgivable abuse of the presidency—even if those deeds didn’t violate any criminal laws.”
I leave it to the readers to decide if they believe President Trump should be impeached.
I’m satisfied that anyone minimally educated and in their right mind can see by now that the Democrat’s impeachment inquiry circus is very much ado about absolutely nothing. However, I would like to draw attention to the eerie parallels between the latest “charges” and the Dem’s own dirty laundry.
The inquiry focuses on the president’s phone call with a foreign leader, in which he supposedly withheld aid from that country until the foreign leader conformed to his wishes, which were supposedly not in the best interest of the United States, but only Trump personally, supposedly.
Sound familiar? Well, it sounds to me an awful lot like the vice president talking to a foreign leader (coincidentally from the same country), and withholding aid ($1 billion) unless that foreign leader conforms to his wishes, in this case by firing the prosecutor who was investigating his son.
If that doesn’t ring a bell, then to quote Joe Biden, “I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money. Well, son of a [expletive]. He got fired.”
So making the sound assumption that Trump’s impeachment will come to nothing, what is the point? Well, the best defense is a good offense. The more we hear about Trump and Ukraine, the less we hear about Biden and Ukraine. And we hear nothing at all about Clinton. It makes sense to me.
I just received my first issue of The Epoch Times and I have to tell you, it’s by far the best newspaper I’ve read in years. It addresses
everything I think Americans should be learning about now.
The topics include: government, health, personal well being, education, teaching kids about wants vs. needs, teaching them about money, how to take care of yourself, and good sleep. It offers a breakdown of what’s really going on with our country.
It’s so refreshing. It’s like God knew it would be my first issue and it addresses everything that’s been on my mind lately. Well done. Happy to
give it an endorsement any time I can.
It talks about the TRUTH. Thank you. My faith in humanity is slowly being restored.
God Bless you.
How could I not have discovered your superb website until now? Full, honest, and well written (and beautifully presented) coverage of the spectrum of almost anything anyone could consider “news”.
You’re my new number one “go-to” site for news and interesting browsing!
I’ve always liked your newspaper, including its objective reporting.
I just want to congratulate you on your new online presence. It’s really
conducive to receiving news on the go. Keep up the great work!
I find your coverage of yesterday’s impeachment hearing the best and most honest of any that I have heard or read. I watched the entire hearing and the President’s press conference and have been extremely disappointed by the half-truths and outright lies that have been cobbled together in much of the media reporting, creating a phony narrative biased against our President. Thank you for being an honest source!
The implementation of the military modernization will require new educational programs from military institutes teaching finite math and Advanced STEM. The nation needs an extension of West Point classrooms located in metropolitan areas offering this new in-depth multifaceted course. Sounds like we need a “Manhattan Project,” now! Churchill and Roosevelt were faced with this problem in the late 1930s.
I love your paper it is the lone newspaper shining in the MSM darkness. You have taken the mind-numbing array of world problems and given us a clear picture of exactly what is happening and who is behind it. The Epoch Times should be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Thank you for providing a clear look behind the curtain.
Love your paper and keep up the GOOD work,
This is the first newspaper I have found anywhere that actually reports the news as it is, without being skewed. Forget television or any other media, it’s all the same, and I am genuinely concerned about the direction our country seems to be taking. Unfortunately, our oldest child has embraced the socialist slant. We are not happy. She is an adult, and can make up her own mind, but I have to think that she just doesn’t have enough life experience to make a truly informed decision. Socialism and communism are things this country has fought against forever.
Have a wonderful day.
Thank you so much for what you do. My husband reads your paper cover to cover. We stopped subscribing to the paper newspaper years ago because of the extremely liberal slant and agenda. It was sad because we both enjoyed the paper format. When I’m reading offline, it allows me to focus only on what I’m reading. Just like everyone else, my phone is a barrage of information hitting me all day and night.
Also, thanks for having great puzzles! I’m 49 years old—young enough to be tech-savvy and old enough to know how relaxing non—digital puzzles are. Pencil and paper and a good Kakoru puzzle are the only things that can slow down my mind and help me get ready to sleep. Please keep those coming!
As a 77-year-old Vietnam Vet, ex USAF Fighter Pilot, retired CA Real Estate
Broker, and Christian Constitutional Conservative who loves this country
more than life itself, I thank you and your staff there at The Epoch
Times for ALL YOU DO!
A subscriber now for just a couple of months, I make sure I hand off the
paper to someone new each week while at the same time singing your
praises for Truth and Excellence in reporting! At least one of my
friends (and there may be others), has now also become a subscriber as
a result and I am sure he (they) will continue subscribing as I will. Gradually,
your readership will build as there is nowhere else we can get the truth
so nicely packaged.
I thank God for you, and please keep up the good work!
What a MARVELOUS PAPER you are putting out. I have told all of my friends on Facebook, and all of my email friends too, about The Epoch Times.
As an older senior citizen, my husband and I had just quit subscribing to any of the newspapers around because they are so LIBERAL in nature. We have been so impressed with your paper and I read it from front to back.
It is so great to read some honest and positive journalism for a change. It gives us the other side of the story that the news media never tells you.
Our country is in so much danger of collapsing that I fear for my grandchildren and their future. God Bless you and all of your staff as you strive to put some honest and thoughtful truth out in the world.
Mr. & Mrs. Wolfe
Thank you for Irene Luo’s and Jan Jekielek’s article on “Sebastian Gorka on ‘The War for America’s Soul’”. It reaffirmed all that I have long felt about so-called progressives and how the progressive vision seems to assume that humankind can be perfected and that the apparatus to endow that perfection is the government. A more ludicrous assumption I can hardly imagine; not so much for the perfection of mankind—which I do seriously doubt—but that government is capable of perfecting anything beyond the consolidation of its own power through the usurpation of liberty and the waging of wars. In light of the fact that of all the varied forms of government instituted since the dawn of recorded history, none has managed to change human nature, it says to me that the progressive vision is simply a better-dressed power grab through the politics of envy and elitist arrogance. It’s just another vicious lie dressed in a beautiful dream.

What are the fundamental differences between The Epoch Times and other media?
In this country, your mission makes you by definition a right-wing, Trump mouthpiece, gun-toting and 2nd amendment in the pocket of the NRA, accepting of religion thus a homophobic newspaper.
The left has no clue who we really are. We are what they need us to be to advance their agenda with their phylogeny anti-cultural special interest groups.
We who are true believers in our Eastern and Western Traditions the traditions which created the greatest and most responsible governments “of the people and by the people,” who in turn created the greatest nations in the history of the world.
In that, I say to you THANK YOU for fighting the fight. I hope that my subscription in its small way will help to support your mission to practice the truth. Hopefully, you can succeed in converting a few of the misguided and bring them back to the nation that they should love as much as this nation loves them.
Cathy He’s credible, straightforward ‘Organ Harvesting’ article reaffirmed the excellent class and quality of what The Epoch Times offers the world as a news source.
It has now been two decades since the Chinese Communist Party openly displayed their policy of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners.
You have reported over many years accounts of that regime’s (now evident) policy of killing dissidents for a lucrative organ-transplant industry. There was a time when such a credible investigative report like this would have halted most of the world in horror and demand for accountability; now, that horror seems to be just a silent exponent of the business models of every corporation now lunging for their share of China’s economic hall of mirrors. It is something kept tightly-clamped and not acknowledged in the quarterlies or shareholders meetings.
I am no scholar, but I did learn to recognize a Faustian Bargain long ago. What level of graceful contract language relieves anyone trading with China of the culpability of enabling a regime that, now casually, murders and maims human beings as an economic policy?
During a shorter period of time, the Nazis established a policy of dealing with their belief of a “Jewish Problem”—straight murder of millions. They realized profit from diamonds, gold teeth, and looted personal property. That absolute horror has now evolved into a Chinese state-mandated industry, cultivating prisoners’ “viable” health status to guarantee a “donor” within days for recipients with the cash. Both terms “atrocity” and “genocide” fit within the China Tribunal’s findings, presented this September to the U.N. Human Rights Council. A ‘donor’ is not mutilated or murdered, regardless of how much lying and manipulation the Chinese regime sustains in dismissing their conduct as legitimate. Whether you may be a U.S. trade policy-making politician, or corporate board member with control over a deal with Communist China, your soul must be an exceptional gymnast to dodge being splashed with that much innocent blood.
Our family loves working on the puzzles in The Epoch Times each week. However, we all struggle with solving the crossword puzzles. We are left exasperated trying to figure out the answers to the clues. We are educated people, but each puzzle leaves us feeling defeated and ignorant. We are not asking for easier puzzles, but if the puzzle creator could make the clues more straight forward, we may be able to complete at least one puzzle and feel some sense of accomplishment.
Thank you for your paper! It is such a welcome source of well researched, intelligent information. I am currently enjoying my trial subscription and will be getting an ongoing subscription after that. Bravo!
The following are my thoughts regarding a recent readers’ letter in The Epoch Times.
I would like to respond to Mary-Lee’s letter on 11/7/19 titled “Food Is Medicine”. She supports the idea that MDs should follow Hippocrates’s advice “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food”. She goes on to state that “so many doctors rely too much on Big Pharma … They have stopped trying to cure and prevent.”
I agree with her observations and insights. In an article by Kelly Adams et. al. in the Journal of Biomedical Education (2015), they identify the relative scarcity of nutrition education MDs receive. Their conclusion goes on to state “It cannot be a realistic expectation for physicians to effectively address obesity, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, hospital malnutrition, and many other conditions as long as they are not taught during medical school and residency training how to recognize and treat the nutritional root causes.” The inadequacy of teaching MDs nutrition has been well documented with numerous peer-reviewed articles such as this one for over 30 years.
Given that this problem has existed for decades and little progress has been made, is it reasonable to expect that medical schools will modify their curriculum to add a huge new field of study to their education program? This seems all the more unlikely considering the degree of funding that medical schools receive from Pharma for education and research. Mary-Lee seems to imply that the ‘cure’ to this healthcare system ill is for MDs to be taught more about nutrition, prevention, and cures for diseases. As an alternative solution, I suggest that the entire health care spectrum (from emergency care to high-performance athletics) is too broad to be addressed by a single profession. There is too much content to be taught in the basic medical doctor degree program. Medical doctors in the United States have training and results that are superb for emergency care, critical care, and traumas. Where the medical profession tends to get poor results (few cures and therapies that focus on ‘control’) is regarding chronic health issues.
Think of the problems where people who go to MDs expect to be on medications for the long term or permanently… high blood pressure, diabetes, hypo-thyroid, mental health (i.e. depression, anxiety), arthritis, asthma, etc. From my perspective, these conditions are the failures in Pharma-based health care. I suggest that healthcare consumers, regulatory and insurance organizations would do better to focus instead on supporting the health care professions that already have a greater degree of nutritional training and prevention care rather than trying to expand the scope of medical training.
For example, let’s look at the two of the largest primary health care professions in the United States, Doctors of Chiropractic (DC) and MDs. They both receive very comparable education in many regards. The undergraduate requirements, basic sciences, and internships are very similar in terms of years and the total number of credit hours of education and training. The largest difference between MD and DC programs is regarding clinical care. Where MDs receive drugs and surgery training, DCs receive nutrition and bio-mechanics training.
Rather than trying to expand the already overburdened MD curriculum with yet another enormous field of study, let’s shift our focus so that consumers with chronic and non-emergency care issues, (rather than trauma and critical care issues), embrace the existing primary healthcare professions that are already trained in nutrition, prevention, and cures. (DCs, naturopaths, etc.)
This is a response to the reader’s comment below:
Oh, I can’t tell you how happy I was to see and read the article “6 Bodily Tissues That Can Be Regenerated Through Nutrition” by Sayer Ji. I am a retired registered nurse and I have been studying natural healing for over 20 years, since leaving nursing, and will take every opportunity to inform people about the power of natural supplements and food.
Every MD, upon graduation, takes the Hippocratic oath, but so many don’t practice by it. Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine, said, “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food”. Yet so many doctors rely too much on Big Pharma because that is how they were trained: learn how to diagnose, recognize the symptoms, and prescribe the drugs for the symptoms. They have stopped trying to cure and to prevent.
So thank you for getting out this much-needed information. I hope everyone reads it takes it to heart.

I’m one of those people that have been under a rock for 3 years. I don’t think that makes me a bad guy. I just want to say thanks for the news. I quit the news & media about 10 years ago. I like pondering information and reaching my own conclusions. It’s something I find fulfilling. That Chappell guy cracks me up! Thanks for the news!! Keep up the good work. I’m glad to be back.
I get a real chuckle out of the 16-year-old Swedish climate activist, Greta Thunberg, spending her time in America promoting how to stop pollution and climate change. Just Google “dirtiest cities in the world” and India and China take the top ten. She should be spending her time in those countries trying to promote climate change from occurring. I assume in those countries they don’t have our news outlets, TV and newspapers, present to promote her message. If one sprains their wrist the doctor doesn’t examine the ankle for a solution.

When I first saw your ad on YouTube, I was so excited. I knew that my husband would be thrilled to receive your publication. It had “him” written all over it. We know how corrupt the agenda-driven multimedia “news” is—a propaganda machine that wouldn’t know the truth if it stared them in the face.
I purchased a one-month trial subscription of The Epoch Times and told him about it. He seemed pessimistically optimistic about receiving it. He received his first issue and dove into it with his usual peppered skepticism, and we didn’t talk about it again. When the next issue came in and I handed it to him, I was very pleased to discover him being super excited to get it. He gleefully gripped it three or four different times over the next hour in anticipation of having the time to sit down and delve into it. I even heard him say “Yay!” to himself one of the times.
When he finally went to open it, he was like a little boy on Christmas. When he cut open the plastic, however, and discovered it included a two-page, double-sided flowchart on the “Spygate” situation, he held it up and yelled, “No way! This is incredible! You’ve got to be kidding me!!!” He keeps talking about it, saying things like, “I can’t believe it! Lise! This is the REAL DEAL! REAL news! It’s fantastic! Thank you SO MUCH, babe! AWESOME gift! I love it. This is the real deal.”
Thank you so much for what you do. I haven’t seen my husband so excited about anything in a very, very, very long time. I’ve never heard him speak so positively about any news media or person ever. He has spent years suffering the lies and overt agendas. He is so thrilled to find you. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to bless his socks off and make him happy just to have someone speak the truth for a change.
Sincerely and gratefully yours,
Your newspaper is so inspiring to me! I look forward to the weekly
newspaper that my friends have subscribed for me. It takes me a week to
read through your in-depth articles. There’s so much in each issue!
I have tried to promote others to subscribe and read your inspirational
newspaper, by putting your website on facebook and in group emails
(www.ReadEpoch.com), and also encouraged them to watch the 2 minute
YouTube video on this website.
I also have shared your weekly newspapers with friends, and I will send
my cousins in Kansas a copy, so they will also be inspired and maybe
Please keep up the great work in describing socialism and Communism,
especially to the younger generation which has been taught “a revised
version” of our true U.S. history.
America is “in the balance,” and this next election will tell us what
kind of country America will be—true to our founding fathers’ “vision”
or turn towards Socialism/Communism like Venezuela.
Thank you for promoting “Truth & Tradition”!
God Bless you all!
I just received a sample of The Epoch Times newspaper and I LOVE IT!!! I’m also a big fan of your Facebook online stories. You have an amazing investigative team!
I am sending in my subscription by mail, but before I write on it, would you mind if I copy the special offer paper to share with friends?
I also thought about buying a subscription for my 90-year-old Dad in Baton Rouge, who loves to read the paper but hates the obvious liberal spin in The Advocate. He would love The Epoch Times as much as I do.
Thank you for spreading the truth. I live just south of Houston and if I can help in any way, just let me know.
Thank you so much!!

I had stopped reading local Chicago newspapers until I got a complimentary copy of The Epoch Times. I was impressed with the content and quickly became a reader once again.
The Mind and Body section is timely, well-written, and my favorite!
I would like to add to the “Autism Is Treatable” article printed on Oct. 24, 2019.
Please share with your readers that exercise, too, is absolutely necessary as an intervention for anyone with Autism Spectrum Disorders to overcome barriers presented with this epidemic and disability.
Right Fit and I have treated and trained youth and adults for over 20 years, with “all levels of Autism,” and we have documented results that well designed and structured fitness programs do work, and must be started early!
Social, physical, and communication struggles and barriers are improved for everyone with well-planned, safe, and appropriate movement experiences.
God bless and thank you,
I am a new subscriber. I love the distribution model, one hard copy and five-day week email. I am reading better every day as I learn how to use the app. It’s just great.
I love to send copies of articles to my friends who still read “fake news” so they can see the difference in reporting for themselves.
One suggestion is to have the system remember email addresses once they have been used, or better still, to allow access to my contact list so I don’t have to enter email addresses every time I send an article.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. YOU’RE JUST THE NEWS SOURCE AMERICA NEEDS!

I subscribed to the Epoch Times publication recently; I will recommend this publication to everyone I know, conservative, independent, and liberal. It is so refreshing to read news with a degree of confidence that the truth is reported. The country is being run by liberal so-called journalists. The actions of the mainstream media can be described as nothing but “Journalistic Treason.” It escapes me why there hasn’t been a patriotic effort to secure one of the mainstream television news stations and broadcast the truth rather than the liberal “Fake News'” of CBS, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, and CNN.
Keep publishing the truth and exposing these liars.
