Business People Find Shen Yun Tickets A Solid Investment
MONTREAL, Canada—Shen Yun Performing Arts wrapped up its four-show run at Place des Arts on Thursday night with a distinguished audience that included business owners impressed by the quality of the dance, music and pageantry on display.
Thibault Jacques, the owner of Econofax+ software company, gushed at the quality of the performance.
“We were very impressed. We think that it’s a wonderful art,” he said.
“It’s very well done.”
He complimented the discipline of the dancers “and the obvious love that they have for their art.”
“I don’t think that you could achieve such perfection without an absolute love for what you are doing,” he said.
Shen Yun’s unique orchestra, which includes Chinese and Western instruments, was also to his liking, he said.
“The combination of a western sound and the original folk sound was perfectly done and most pleasing to our ears.”
He also appreciated Shen Yun’s animated backdrop and how it interacted with the dancers on the stage.
“That was absolutely wonderful—the graphics—very well done,” he said, noting in particular the interaction between the dancers and the animated backdrop.
Joining him at the show was his wife the co-founder of the company Ruth Gover.
“I love the show. It was exclusive. Everything, the colours of the costumes, the backgrounds, the dancers are perfection,” she said.
“They’re totally together even just to the end of their fingertips. It was a joy, pure joy to watch.”
“We’ll come back next year when the new show comes. This is the first time we’ve been here, and it will be just really nice to see another performance.”

Also in attendance for the show was Peter Vocisano a Montreal real estate developer.
He said the dancers were very colourful and very talented. Shen Yun’s costumes are a favourite of many attendees, all original creations made by Shen Yun’s talented team of designers.
Shen Yun’s backdrop also stood out for him.
“That was very nice. That’s very impressive,” he said.
With him was Natalie Ouellette, who also appreciated the show.
“I really like the costumes and the colour, and the choreography,” she said.
