Epoch Times is covering tonight and tomorrow’s hourly weather forecast for cities in the USA.

Winter Storm Janus is having a big effect in Boston. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 1:00 pm today, Jan. 21 until 1:00 pm tomorrow, Jan. 22.

The National Weather Service says blizzard conditions will likely lead to a lot of snow. Expect about an inch this afternoon, five to nine inches this evening, and one to three inches tomorrow morning.

The high this afternoon is 22 degrees; tonight’s low is 13 degrees.

Travel on plowed roads will be slow at best, while untreated roads will be exceedingly difficult to travel on.

ready.gov recommends the following supplies:

  • Rock salt or more environmentally safe products to melt ice on walkways. Visit the Environmental Protection Agency for a complete list of recommended products.
  • Sand to improve traction.
  • Snow shovels and other snow removal equipment.
  • Sufficient heating fuel. You may become isolated in your home and regular fuel sources may be cut off. Store a good supply of dry, seasoned wood for your fireplace or wood-burning stove.
