A group of Black Lives Matter teenagers are accused of beating and robbing an Iraq War veteran after he declined to answer a question they asked him.
Christopher Marquez, a Marine who earned a Bronze Star for valor after serving in the war, was eating a hamburger at McDonald’s on Friday when the teens approached him.
“Do you believe black lives matter?” they asked him.
Marquez didn’t want trouble, so he kept his head down and kept eating. They then started calling him a racist.

“I felt threatened and thought they were trying to intimidate me, so I figured I’m just going to keep to my food, eat my food and hopefully they’ll leave me alone. And because I wasn’t responding back to them, they were calling me a racist,” Marquez told WJLA.
Marquez left the restaurant but the group followed and knocked him unconscious, then robbed him of $400 and his wallet.
DeAnthony Mason, manager of the McDonald’s, said surveillance video captured the assault, reported the Daily Caller.
Marquez made it to the hospital after regaining consciousness and was treated for head trauma and an eye contusion.
Transactions from the credit cards the teens stole indicated they used them at a liquor store, Five Guys, and Walmart.
The D.C. police are investigating the beating and robbery but aren’t labeling it as a hate crime, which Marquez disagrees.
“I believe this was a hate crime and I was targeted because of my skin color. Too many of these types of attacks have been happening against white people by members of the black community and the majority of the main stream media refuses to report on it,” he said.
“I really think this group of teens is dangerous and will do this type of thing again if they are not caught.”
