Bikes Worth Over $120,000 Stolen in 3 Minutes

Thieves have smashed into a bike shop and taken off with bikes worth about $123,600 in just three minutes.

The thieves, dressed all in black, stole almost 30 high-end bikes from a bike shop in the Netherlands just after 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23.

In a bid to track down the masked suspects, the shop has released CCTV footage of the crime, where the thieves can be seen grabbing several bikes at a time.

The shop, De Tweewieler, is based in the town of Udenhout, south of the country, and sells the well-known bike brand Bianchi. Since the CCTV footage has been posted on Bianchi Benelux’s Facebook page, it has gathered over 230,000 views and more than 2,500 shares, as of Jan. 29.
