Hillary Clinton has a large lead in delegates over Bernie Sanders, but Sanders has out-fundraised the former Secretary of State consistently in the first quarter of 2016.

On April 1, the campaign announced a $44 million haul in the month of March.

As of April 1, the Clinton campaign had not released fundraising totals for March, but cautioned supporters not to dismiss Sanders’s campaign.

“Even with our delegate lead, we can’t underestimate Senator Sanders and his team,” Clinton wrote.

Sanders and Clinton are set to face off in Wisconsin on April 5 where the Vermont Senator has seen a surge of polling numbers in his favor. After Wisconsin, the next battleground state is New York, where the two candidates are gearing up for the primary, on April 19.
