Barchetta, or “little boat” in Italian, is a casual Italian seafood trattoria newly opened in Chelsea. A partnership between Esca’s acclaimed chef and partner Dave Pasternack and John Meadow’s LDV Hospitality, it will also showcase pieces by up-and-coming New York artists. The menu includes crudo plates, including razor clams, black sea bass, and pink snapper, as well as primi plates like fettuccine with lobster, peas, spring onions, and sorrel. A crudo tasting is also available.
