Jasmine Jones and Leonard Martin were arrested in New Orleans after appearing to intentionally abandon their baby in a gas station parking lot on Tuesday. Surveillance footage published by News Breaker shows the two arguing outside a silver/gray car.

Jones takes the car seat out of the car and puts it on the hood. Martin takes the car seat off the hood and carefully places it on the ground, then the two drive away in separate cars.

Police said the infant was handed over to a relative after a gas station employee found the baby in the parking lot and reported it to police.
