In this video, the Off the Great Wall team tries implementing the “Asian Squat” in various everyday situations to see if it can improve their daily lives.

“Asian Squat” is the nickname given to a squatting stance commonly used throughout many countries in Asia, especially China. What differentiates an Asian Squat from a regular squat is that both feet are completely flat against the ground, as opposed to just the toes touching the ground. This way of squatting can create more balance and comfort, although people attempting it for the first time might experience the contrary. Many seasoned adopters of the Asian Squat find that they are able to hold the position for prolonged periods of time without fatigue or discomfort. The stance is often used while resting, waiting, and even for healthy bowel movements.
