Arrowhead Mall Not on Lockdown After Shooting; Suspects Flee

A shooting happened at the Arrowhead Towne Center in Glendale, Arizona on Friday during a shoplifting attempt.

Security officers at Sears tried to apprehend a man and woman who they say were shoplifting. The woman opened fire inside the store.

No one was hit by the gunshots, Sgt. Jay O’Neill told ABC.

The couple fled on a black motorcycle.

They are described a a white male with a scruffy beard and a white female wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and a backpack.

Police found a motorcycle that looks like the one the suspects fled on at a nearby apartment complex, and are investigating whether it’s the same one.
