Anaheim homicide detectives are looking for the driver of a newer-model minivan in connection with a fatal shooting in the city.

The investigation began Jan. 24 after a man was shot at least once at 7:37 p.m. at Abby’s Anaheimer Inn at 1201 W. Katella Ave. He was transferred to a nearby hospital, where he died.

Now, police are asking the public to help find a dark-colored Chrysler Voyager minivan that could be related to the killing. Its license plate is 8RZE565. Police ask anyone who spots the vehicle to call police or 911

The victim’s name has not been released, nor has a possible motive. Anyone with additional information is asked to call Orange County Crime Stoppers at 1-855-TIP-OCCS.
