Albert Pujols, first baseman for the St. Louis Cardinals, was among those who won the Silver Slugger Awards on Thursday, according to Major League Baseball’s official website.

The award is handed out to the best offensive player at all positions in the American League and in the National League. The winner is picked by Major League managers and coaches.

This is the sixth time Pujols has won.

In the NL, winners include second-baseman Dan Uggla of the Marlins , third-baseman Ryan Zimmerman of the Nationals, shortstop Troy Tulowitzki of the Rockies, outfielder Ryan Braun of the Brewers, outfielder Carlos Gonzalez of the Rockies, outfielder Matt Holliday of the Cardinals, catcher Brian McCann of the Braves, and pitcher Yovani Gallardo of the Brewers.

In the AL, winners include catcher Joe Mauer of the Twins, first-baseman Miguel Cabrera of the Tigers, second-baseman Robinson Cano of the Yankees, third-baseman Adrian Beltre of the Red Sox, shortstop Alexei Ramirez of the White Sox, outfielder Jose Bautista of the Blue Jays, outfielder Carl Crawford of the Rays, outfielder Josh Hamilton of the Rangers, and Vladimir Guerrero of the Rangers.

Earlier this week, Pujols also won the Rawlings Gold Gloves award.
