Two people were killed in a high-speed Lamborghini crash near Chicago on Interstate 57, state police said.

The driver and passenger in the Lamborghini were ejected and were later pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at around 8:55 p.m. on Friday, the Illinois State Police told the Chicago Tribune.

Jacob Dochee, 45, of Frankfort, and Samieh Jawdac, 26, of Crete, were identified as the two victims in the crash.

The car smashed into a tree near Matteson. Police said that speed was a likely factor in the crash, ABC7 reported.

“I was doing 80 so it was almost twice my speed,” witness Kelly Longmire said.

Later, Longmire said she knew Dochee, meeting him as he was building her ex-boyfriend’s house.

“He had many children and I can’t imagine that they’re not going to be asking ‘where’s my dad?’ Longmire said, noting that he’s a father.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.
