MABLETON, Ga. — Police in Atlanta’s suburbs say two people were killed and four children injured in a car crash.

Cobb County police say the wreck happened shortly before 4 a.m. Monday in the Mableton area northwest of Atlanta.

Investigators say a green 1998 Honda Passport left a road and collided with a tree.

The driver, 27-year-old Katrina E. Morris of Powder Springs, Georgia, was killed.

The front-seat passenger, an adult male, was also pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators have not yet positively identified him.

Police say four children in the back seat were seriously injured and taken to a hospital.
