The 2019 International Chinese Traditional Martial Arts Competition finals are set to take place on August 25.

Dozens of martial artists will gather to compete for greatness and witness a revival of traditional martial arts in their finest form.

The competition aims to revive the traditional Chinese martial arts and display its true values to the world, as part of a series of international culture and arts events sponsored by NTD Television (New Tang Dynasty Television).

Traditional Chinese martial arts have been passed down for thousands of years, with an overarching emphasis on the “martial virtue” of the practitioner and cultivation of moral character as the basis for development and progress, which has been lost in modern mixed martial arts.

Competitors include men and women competing in the categories of Internal, External, Southern, Northern, and Weapons.

The entrance for semi-final and final will be free for everyone. Additionally, NTD and The Epoch Times websites will have live coverage starting from 2:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. (EST) on Sunday, Aug. 25.

The competition will be held at 24 Changebridge Road in Montville, NJ, 07045 USA.
