The young and young at heart will be able to bounce to their heart’s content when the biggest bouncy castle in the world comes to the Toronto area this spring.
The Big Bounce Canada will set up its newly supersized 24,000-square-foot bounce house beginning May 4 at the Woodbridge fairgrounds in Vaughan, Ont.
The bounce house, known as the largest bouncy castle in the world, will be one of several attractions at the event which runs through May 19.
A more than 900-foot-long obstacle course, an under-the-sea-themed inflatable that is part bouncer, part foam party, a customized sports arena, and an intergalactic themed bouncer will also be on site.
“The Giant,” which is three times as long as the average soccer field, features more than 900 feet of obstacles, making it the ultimate obstacle course for kids and parents. It is suitable for ages 4 and up.
“The OctoBlast” allows kids to enter a deep sea world and is described as “part bouncer, part foam party.” The bouncy castle features a pufferfish party stage, foam cannons, and a giant octopus.
You can indulge your inner athlete at Sport Slam, an area filled with nets, goal posts, hoops, and an area for dodgeball. There is also a special zone for climbing and a ‘battle zone’ where kids can compete against family and friends.
AirSPACE comes complete with inflatable aliens, spaceships, giant planets, moon crater ball pits, and an enormous five-lane slide for the ultimate intergalactic experience.
Tickets are available for the attraction in four categories: toddler for kids age three and younger, junior for children age seven and younger, bigger kids for those ages eight to 15 and adults, age 16 and up.
Each three-hour pass includes timed sessions on The World’s Biggest Bouncy Castle and unlimited access to the other attractions.
Attendees must shed their shoes before entering any of the socks-only bouncers. Children under the age of four must be accompanied by a paying adult 16 or older.
Tickets start at $30 for toddlers and $52 for adult-only sessions.
The event runs May 4-19 at the Woodbridge fairgrounds located at 100 Porter Ave.
Big Bounce Canada will have two other stops in Ontario this year: Hamilton from July 5-7 and Ottawa from July 12-14. It will also set up shop in Montreal from July 27-Aug. 11, in Calgary from Aug. 17-25, and in Edmonton from Aug. 31-Sept. 8.
