News that Australian Oscar Jenkins is alive has been welcomed but the federal government is calling on Russia to treat the prisoner of war justly and release him.
Jenkins is detained by Russian Armed Forces members and was alive after fighting for Ukraine, Russia’s ambassador to Australia has told officials.
