About 1,200 parents recently marched in Fontana, California, to protest Planned Parenthood and the Fontana Unified School District over alleged secret gender transitions.

“For our families we will fight. Not your kids. Not your right,” the demonstrators chanted.

The Leave Our Kids Alone rally on Jan. 13, led by a pro-life group called White Rose Resistance, claims that Planned Parenthood and the school district have “collaborated to infringe upon parental rights by promoting ‘extremist political ideologies.’”

Organizers say whistleblowers have come forward, alleging that district staff members refer to trans-identified students by “incorrect names and genders without parental knowledge or approval,” and maintain school records with more than one name, according to a press release issued by a coalition of parental rights groups.

“These records include a ‘given name’ used when communicating with parents, and a ‘requested name’ that students are called when parents are absent. Furthermore, it has been revealed that the school system is implementing explicit Planned Parenthood sex-education curricula and training teachers to provide misleading information to parents regarding their children’s gender identity,” according to the release.

Neither Planned Parenthood nor any of the Fontana school board responded to the allegations.

Greg Abdouch, founder of Not On Our Watch, a parental rights group based in California’s Inland Empire, said the school board has repeatedly denied requests from parents for a parental notification policy which would require school staff to inform parents if their child decides to change their gender identity at school.

Sophia Lorey of California Family Council accused Planned Parenthood of “influencing school sex-ed curricula” and “advocating the sterilization of healthy children with cross-sex hormones.”

“We must take action to protect children from the harmful spread of this trans ideology,” she said.

Sonja Shaw, school board president at Chino Valley Unified School District, said Planned Parenthood aims to influence the public school system with an agenda “to disrupt the family unit and control children through pervasive curricula.”

Chino Valley was the first of at least seven school districts in the state to pass local parental notification policies, which California Attorney General Rob Bonta has blocked with a preliminary injunction while the case is pending in court.

Ms. Shaw blasted the attorney general, as well as California Gov. Gavin Newsom and state Superintendent of Schools Tony Thurmond, for leading a “political cartel in Sacramento” that is tightening its grip on the state’s education system.

Nicole Pearson, an attorney on the executive board of Protect Kids California, a coalition of parental rights and child advocacy groups, which launched a ballot initiative opposing so-called “gender-affirming care” for minors, males competing in women’s sports, and the secret social gender transitions, told The Epoch Times that 1,000 people signed the petition at the protest at the amphitheater in Miller Park.

Ms. Pearson said that even having to put forth a ballot initiative to protect children is a telltale sign on where humanity is headed.

“It’s a commentary on where we are socially and morally as a society,” she said. “It’s just an abomination. It’s terrifying.”

In late November, Mr. Bonta released the ballot titled “Restricts Rights of Transgender Youth,” with the summary claiming the initiative, in part, “prohibits gender-affirming health care for transgender patients under 18, even if parent consent or treatment is medically recommended.”
In December, Jonathan Zachreson, a spokesman for Protect Kids California, called Mr. Bonta’s ballot title and summary “absurd” and “overtly biased,” and the group has since announced plans to sue the attorney general for allegedly misleading voters.

Ms. Pearson said the ballot title and summary are intentionally biased and “brazenly illegal.”

“It should not be legal to mutilate and sterilize anyone of any age. This should not be an accepted standard of care,” she said. “Look at the growing number of detransitioners and people who are regretful.”

AJ Hurley of White Rose Resistance called for “holistic children’s rights movements” against Planned Parenthood, which he said is “the common denominator” of the sexual revolution and destruction of the family, “whether it be abortion or the mutilation of children.”

Planned Parenthood has led a concerted population control agenda that involves pushing sexual liberation and sexual identity and is not only the largest abortion provider, but it’s also the largest provider of sex-ed in schools and is now pushing hormone replacement therapy for gender dysphoric children.

“Planned Parenthood is behind all of this,” he said. “It’s a large, pervasive attempt at sexualizing children pushing pornography, pushing transgender drugs, and it’s a population control agenda that has dollar signs.”

Anthony Cabassa, a self-described independent journalist known in social media circles as Informed With Anthony, wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that the City of Fontana “denied a permit to gather and said if parents showed up, it would be an ‘unlawful assembly’.”

But, he said, parents rallied by the hundreds anyway to advocate on behalf of their children.

Mr. Cabassa said rally organizers told him the City informed them the permit for the rally would be approved, but at the last minute “decided to deny the request to peacefully gather” allegedly “because Planned Parenthood threatened to sue the city.”

In an Instagram video, Mr. Cabassa shows hundreds of protesters, estimating more than 1,000 participated in the march, including a “large crowd of Hispanic Pro-Life Catholics” and Armenian parents demanding schools pushing a gender ideology in schools.

“People are rising up,” he said. “They’re tired of the agenda. They’re tired of California Democrats just doing whatever they want, not listening to the will of the people. This is what happens.”

Chris Elston, a Canadian and married father of two school-age daughters, more widely known as “Billboard Chris,” also spoke at the event.

Teaching gender dysphoric children they’re born in the wrong body is “complete insanity” and leads them down a path to “irreversible harm,” he told The Epoch Times after the rally.

“As far as I’m concerned, it’s the largest child abuse scandal in modern medical history,” he said.

“Democrats won’t fix it, so California residents can write their own laws, which they’ve done. Now they just need to get signatures to get it on the ballot, and we know that if this gets on the ballot, it will pass.”

Mr. Elston agrees the “Restricts Rights of Transgender Youth” ballot title is an attempt to deceive people into going against this ballot initiative.

“They’ve put a completely false label on it,” he said. “They’re not telling the truth about it.”
