The Big Climate Change Lie: The CO2 Risk to the Planet

Is carbon dioxide (CO2) really as bad as climate change scientists and ESG alarmists say it is?
According to climate authorities such as the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and the Columbia Climate School, CO2 causes global warming via the greenhouse effect. Furthermore, it’s claimed that as a result of human activity, such as industrialization, CO2 levels are higher than they have been in at least 3 million years.
Also, we are told that farm animals are major contributors to rising CO2 levels in the atmosphere—worse than all the cars and vans combined—and that these greater amounts of CO2 gases will stay in the atmosphere for hundreds of years. The results will be catastrophic, such as droughts, famines, floods, and so forth.
In short, rising CO2 levels are killing the planet.

Modest Proposals to ‘Save the Planet’

What’s the proposed solution? How are we going to “save the planet?”
The choices that are being made for us include replacing gas-powered cars with electric vehicles (EV), slashing carbon-producing industrial activity, and reducing farming and the population of farm animals. Oh, and we should be replacing meat and dairy proteins with bugs.
That’s not all, of course. The biggest threat to the planet is humanity itself. Us. You and me. Therefore, we also need to reduce the number of humans on the planet.
All of these drastic and inhumane measures are necessary, they say, because of one little gas that makes up only 0.04 percent of the atmosphere.

But are any of the claims about the “climate crisis” and climate “science” even true?

Let’s take them one at a time.

Does CO2 Really Cause Rising Temperatures?

Rising–and falling–CO2 levels are nothing new. In fact, they’ve been much higher than they are today. Furthermore, there is no epochal correlation or even causation between CO2 levels and higher average global temperatures.

According to Patrick Moore, one of the original founders of Greenpeace, the entire CO2 narrative is based on lies and half-truths, especially with regard to its purported causation of global warming.

“The record is clear that the world has been warming since about the year 1700, 150 years before we were using fossil fuels,“ Moore said. ”1700 was the peak of the Little Ice Age, which was very cold and caused crop failures and starvation. Before that, around 1000 A.D. was the Medieval Warm Period, when Vikings farmed Greenland. [And] before that, around 500 A.D. were the Dark Ages, and before that, the Roman Warm Period when it was warmer than today, and the sea level was 1–2 meters higher than today.”

The cold, hard facts on global warming are that it simply isn’t true and isn’t demonstrable. Moore has proved that CO2 levels have been much higher than today hundreds and even thousands of years ago—without human industrial activity causing it. Those pushing the climate change agenda are either mistaken, corrupted by the money, or simply amoral when it comes to the welfare of their fellow human beings.

More CO2, More Food and Oxygen

The reality is that CO2 is actually good for the planet in all sorts of ways, especially when it comes to solving food shortages, says Dr. Craig Idso, chairman of the Center for the Study of Carbon Dioxide and Global Change.
“Over the past five decades, literally thousands of laboratory and field-based studies have been conducted to examine growth-related responses of plants at higher levels of atmospheric CO2,” Idso writes. “These CO2-enrichment studies, as they are called, are near unanimous in what they have found—increased levels of CO2 significantly enhance plant photosynthesis and stimulate growth.”
In short, even just a tiny rise in CO2 results in massive increases in crop yields. So much for the CO2-induced famine argument.

In fact, the more humans there are, the more farm animals will be needed, and the more CO2 will be produced, leading to more oxygen-producing plants—and more food from those plants and animals will be the result.

A lot more.

EVs Are Killing the Planet–and Our Power Grids

As for EVs, the drive to obtain lithium, which is critical for EV batteries, is destroying the environment at an alarming rate. Lithium mining is destroying fertile land, depleting water tables, poisoning the surrounding areas, killing wildlife, actually increasing CO2 levels, and causing other environmental damage at an alarming rate.

EVs also strain our electrical grids and cost a fortune. And yet, gasoline-powered cars are being phased out. It’s almost as if someone doesn’t want regular people to have their own transportation.

It could be quite reasonably argued that the global elite are the most prolific and profane purveyors of famine, disease, warfare, and death in this world. Despoiling farmland, eliminating people’s livelihoods, banning gas stoves, mandating toxic vaccines, destroying highly efficient farms under false pretenses of “climate change,” and economic mismanagement are much greater dangers to humanity than CO2.

The climate change myth is just that—a myth. It does the very thing it purports to prevent and replaces the Creator with the created. It’s a wicked lie that’s layered upon many other lies and suffused with a toxic religiosity evangelized by a thin stratum of inhumanity known as the global elite, who gather with their private jets and decide, over filet mignon, how much they’ll take away from the rest of us and how they'll funnel power to the state.

Perpetuating the lie that rising CO2 levels will be the death of the human race demonstrates a scornful disregard for human life among the world’s greatest hypocrites.

A Planet Designed for Humanity

But humanity isn’t what’s wrong with the planet.

In fact, one could say that Earth is remarkably unique and was specifically made for human beings to live and to thrive. The biblical edict to “be fruitful and multiply” seems a lot wiser, healthier, and much more enjoyable than lithium mining and eating bugs.

That’s because it is.
