The Dow Jones industrial average was up 3.50 points, or 0.03 percent, at 11,350.01. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was up 1.62 points, or 0.13 percent, at 1,280.00. The Nasdaq Composite Index was down 22.65 points, or 0.98 percent, at 2,292.98.
