FLUSHING, New York City—On May 17, Falun Gong practitioners held the "Thirty-Six Million Quit the CCP" rally in Flushing, New York. SinoVision's report on the event included video clips of Falun Gong practitioners quietly holding banners with the words "The CCP is not China" and "Heaven Will Bless China." SinoVision news anchors claimed that Falun Gong practitioners had disrupted the earthquake fund raising event. Reporters interviewed pro-communist mobs gathered in Flushing, intentionally inciting hatred against Falun Gong.

SinoVision has been sending reporters to Flushing, New York every day since May 17, when Falun Gong practitioners were first besieged and attacked in Flushing by mobs widely thought to have been organized and incited by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party). SinoVision falsely labeled the "Thirty-Six Million Quit the CCP" rally as "Falun Gong Disrupting the Earthquake Fundraising Effort." However, no video clips of Falun Gong interference with the earthquake fundraising efforts can be found in the SinoVision report.

SinoVision has used these same tactics throughout its coverage of events in Flushing, focusing cameras on fanatical pro-communist groups verbally and physically assaulting Falun Gong practitioners.

SinoVision's intent appears to be the gross distortion of the facts in their efforts to deceive New York Chinese residents. Meanwhile, the CCP promoted the same news programs inside China inciting hatred against Falun Gong.

Ms. Yi Rong, Vice President of the Quitting CCP Service Center in Flushing, explained that the Quitting CCP rally on May 17 had been approved before the Sichuan earthquake had even occurred. The first thing the organizers did during the rally was to mourn the Sichuan victims. However, SinoVision did not report this act of respect toward the quake victims. Instead, it repeatedly described "Falun Gong interference with earthquake fundraising."

The Epoch Times has learned that several independent groups have documented SinoVision's part in inciting the violence against Falun Gong practitioners in Flushing. This information is being forwarded to the FBI for further investigation and possible legal action.
