BUCHAREST, Romania—Divine Performing Arts stopped in Bucharest, Romania this Monday. The dance company performed the Chinese Spectacular for a full house at the Bucharest National Theatre (Teatru National), where it was welcomed with enthusiastic applause and a standing ovation.

Mihail Iovu, a retired bank president, was overwhelmingly impressed by the show. "I'm 76 years old and I've never in my life seen such a beautiful show. Honestly, I love movies, the theatre, and books. I like ballet, but this company surpasses all of them. The choreography is extraordinary and the costumes too," he said enthusiastically. "This show should play here for half a year so that more people can see it." Mr. Iovu also loved the concept of the show, and said that as soon as he saw the posters, he hurried to buy tickets.

When asked what message he wanted to give to Divine Performing Arts, he jokingly said that "They should not perfect their skills anymore, because they are already perfect." Other audience members commented on the grace of the dancers and how the show gave them a feeling of peace.

The Chinese Spectacular will play one more show on Tuesday, April 8, at the Bucharest National Theatre.
