SYDNEY, Australia—Dr Alex Sharah saw the Chinese Spectacular on the opening night at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.
"It's a real professional show and in every way it was a joy to come," he said.
"The costumes are lovely and the music and the dancing is in perfect time. This is the first time I have seen a Chinese musical and I am most impressed. The theme and the dancing is exquisite and all the girls are beautiful."
Dr Sharah, who is a psychiatrist and general practitioner, said all the performances were good, but he particularly liked the drummers, and the contemporary scene 'The Power of Awareness', about the persecution of innocent people for their beliefs.
"It's hard to say; I did like the one of the drummers, but I liked all of them.
"If I have to say something, I did like the one where they were in jail too.
"I thought that was very impressive, quite sad, about the persecution, but it was well done, beautifully done. And please, God the message gets through and something good happens from it.
"I was lucky the tickets were given to me," he said. "A lovely girl gave them to us, to my friend and I, and we really loved it."
