ADELAIDE, Australia—The Chinese Spectacular graced the stage at the Festival Centre Theatre in Adelaide on Tuesday afternoon April 15, captivating the matinee audience. Friends, Sue and Barbara thoroughly enjoyd the show.

"Ah, thoroughly enjoyed it, yes. Lively, very good choreography; costumes were great. Excellent" said Sue whilst exiting the show.

Though she has seen other cultural performances, Sue said she had never seen a show like the Spectacular . "This show is much more professional, much more polished".

The Drums in 'Drummers of the Tang Court' and 'Victory Drums' were a favourite she said.

Barbara liked the performance 'Ladies of the Manchu Court' the most. "I liked the ones with the old shoes. I thought that was very dramatic."

The various aspects of traditional Chinese Culture portrayed in the show, along with the moral stories behind many of the performances inspired Sue to want to look up more about it in her spare time. "...it was probably a little over my head, so it just makes me more interested in going out and having a look again at things and reading up a little bit more. It's just good."
