ADELAIDE, Australia—As St John Ambulance volunteers, Royline and Susan are used to having a presence as carers of the hurt or sick, but when they saw the Spectacular at the matinee in Adelaide's, Festival Centre Theatre, April 15, they knew they were in the presence of something else.

"The singing really told the story of power and presence and that's what I loved about it," said Royline adding that even the dance had the same effect. "You just watch the movements and that tells the story."

Royline said the show had been "absolutely incredible" and she had felt China's 5000 year old culture through the dance and music.

"It's just so beautiful, I loved the way that they danced, and it's like heritage. It's like they act out what they're doing and what it means. That's what I loved most about the Chinese music [in the show]."

Royline said the Spectacular reflected the beauty of Chinese people.

"I think the message depicts what China's about and in this day and age we know there's a lot of unrest there but it must still be a beautiful country to produce such beautiful people like that.

"Today is exceptional … out of this world," she said, "I'd see it again."

Susan agreed saying it was "So beautiful, fantastic to watch."

"I really enjoyed it … a lovely show."
