MELBOURNE, Australia—"Oh, it was wonderful, very very nice. I could really appreciate all the work that's gone into this. The singing was beautiful, I loved the voices. I really enjoyed the drumming. The dancers were just so graceful and so skilled, it was really wonderful," Lynne, an artistic painter, said after watching the Chinese Spectacular in Melbourne Saturday.

"I paint, and there are times when I'm painting and I know the work just falls off the end of the brush, and I know the work is not really coming from me, and that's what I see in the performance."

"I see something higher than just the movements and the voice, it's there."

"I'm an artist myself, and I know when the spirit is moving with somebody when they're working. You can see the difference," Lynne imparted.

Her partner John, manages an engineering firm, he accompanied Lynne to the show.

"The backdrops were fantastic, and the music, I loved the music. I liked the chap who was singing–very powerful voice."

"I had not seen classical Chinese dance before. It was very interesting to see. The choreography, the way it was performed, the dance was very exhilarating. A lot of high-flying stuff, it looked good–looked very good," John remarked.
