STOCKHOLM, Sweden—Audiences were thrilled by the beauty of the Chinese Spectacular on Easter Monday. The show completely sold out; with standing ovations from the appreciative crowd.
Lily Hu was at the show. She works at publishing company in Stockholm, which makes schoolbooks. Her father is Chinese, and she knows a little about Chinese culture.
"I think it was fabulous, I think it was really beautiful…it was great," she said.
She said the dancers were elegant.
"I liked the clothes. I liked they way they make the expression in their faces. It was elegant."
She said the three values - Truth, Compassion and Patience – bought Chinese culture to the western audiences and she would tell people to see the show because it was so beautiful.
"I think it was very visual to me," she said.
Medical laboratory engineer Inger Forsmo said it was a great show, and very interesting, but she could not pick a favourite.
"It is so difficult to say that just one of them is the best."
She liked the Falun Gong performance and would like to introduce the show to her friends and family.
"I think it is interesting to hear them talk between the programs because it gives you some explanation and background to the number you are looking at."
She heard about the Spectacular through her husband's colleague who is from China.
Natalie Naoma, 18, spoke to Epoch Times by the tram stop after the show. She attended the show with her aunt and little nephew who practices Kung Fu. They came with the family of one of his Kung Fu friend's, to learn more about Chinese culture.
Miss Naoma said, "It was good to see how China was before."
She said her favourite piece was "Power of Awareness". She lifted her right hand to remind herself of the words she had written there, "Truth, Goodness and Patience."
