BERLIN—The Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular graced the stages of Berlin's International Congress Centre with its depiction of 5000 years of Chinese culture.

"Absolutely beautiful," said attendee Lars Fredriksen, who is the owner of the Bouchier Organics chocolate factory, of the show.

"Nymphs of the Sea was really beautifully made. However, most of the dancing was fantastic," add Fredriksen. "Also, the scene with the big drums in the first part was especially fantastic; their choreography and sound was excellent."

"Also, the scenes about the persecution of Falun Gong were quite moving."

Fredriksen had also known of the persecution of Falun Gong and thought that the way it was expressed was "in a gentle way because in reality, it is a lot harsher than what was portrayed in the scene."

The Chinese Embassy just recently tried to put a stop to the Spectacular in Munich, Germany and pressured the Malaysian Government to cancel the show.

When asked about this, Fredriksen commented, "Coming from a country in which you can speak freely and do more or less what you like within normal personal responsibility, I of course find it outrageous."

"I would come again because it is beautiful, and seems authentic. It is moving."
