NEW YORK—New Jersey Dentist Joel Martin was not going to miss out on the The Chinese New Year Splendor this year. He was at the show on Friday night.
"We heard about it last year, and we did not get to it. And this year we got a post card and advertisement, and we took advantage of it this year," he said. Dr. Martin said the dancing, the sets, and the costumes were beautiful.
"I think what really makes this special to me is the animation in the background. It is really fantastic! I am impressed by the size of the screen and the intricacy of the visual effect it presents.
"I am fascinated by the three dimensionality of the animation in the background and the creativity of it," he said.
Dr. Martin also enjoyed the music.
"The music is fun. We traveled to China and it is a pleasure to hear some of the instruments again that are not frequently heard in the United States," he said.
Dr. Martin said he would come back to see the show again, and he would recommend it to his friends.
The Chinese New Year Splendor continues in New York through Saturday, Feb. 9.
