New York—Producer Zully Rosado had nothing but praise for the Chinese New Year Splendor , currently playing at Radio City Music Hall.
"It was so spiritual I was almost in tears, because I couldn't believe how beautiful and magical it was," she said.
Her business partner Patricia agreed. "The colours were wonderful, dances were fantastic," she said.
Patricia's daughter Alazara also enjoyed the show. "I thought that it was like, the dancing to me, it told a story," she said.
Zully said the songs they sang were "amazing."
"Because they talked a lot about how we need to forbear, especially with everything…they were speaking about Falun Dafa, they were speaking about compassion and forbearance.
"Because I do know the history behind it, that it's not allowed in China. So it's nice they could come the U.S. and practice it freely, on a stage. I just found it very amazing about forbearance and compassion," she said.
Falun Dafa, a meditation practice and spiritual discipline, is currently undergoing brutal oppression by the Chinese communist regime.
Zully said Americans could learn a lot from Asian ideology.
"Always, I apply it, I try to follow the eastern philosophies, like Taoism and Falun Gong, so I found it amazing," she said.
Zully said the show had a lot to offer western audiences.
"It's definitely for other people, because you learn a lot about the Chinese culture; you learn a lot about their music and their dance — it's amazing. It's a great lesson. That's why I brought her, so she could learn about her culture," she said.
Patricia said she would definitely recommend the show to her friends.
"I would say that it's fantastic, I would tell them that they would have a great experience," she said.
