NEW YORK—Restaurant manager Ivette Singh was impressed by the Chinese New Year Splendor, currently playing at New York's Radio City Music Hall.

"It's spectacular, beautiful, wonderful!" said Singh, who attended Saturday's show with her mother Nelva and son Roberto.

"I have never seen a Chinese show like this before in my life," said Singh. "I think this is wonderful because it gives a lot of messages to the people. Like, we have to be together—that's the main idea."

Singh added that her favorite act was the "Power of Awareness": "the one in the park, they were talking about helping each other—that was wonderful."

She also liked "Seeking the Tao."

"Everybody has a dream, and I think they can learn a little bit from that, and be a little more for real about living in this world, and be a little bit better."

"It was good," her son said.

The Chinese New Year Splendor continues in New York through Saturday, Feb. 9. For other shows in the Divine Performing Arts world tour, please visit: http://www.divineperformingarts.com/
