Sam Park, from Atlanta, brought his family to watch the Chinese New Year Spectacular in Atlanta, Georgia on Jan. 4.
Sam is the Predient of SBA Realty Group, and Chairman of Asian American Political Economical Professional Association. Sam was originally from Korea. He's been in the United States for 32 years.
Xiaosen Wang, Sam's wife, is also an insurance agent. She is originally from Changchun City, Jilin Province, China. She enjoyed the show in a different way from her husband.
"Oh, I love it! It was really amazing, I was really surprised because I have been in America for twenty-some years, and this is the first time I've seen such beautiful Chinese dancing," Xiaosen said.
Xiaosen likes the Mongolian Bowl Dance the most, saying she felt great, and felt the taste of the Chinese New Year.
Xiaosen's daughter Hui Teng is a student at Watson High in Marietta. She said, "I thought it was very creative, there was a lot of dancing that was very enjoyable. The dancing was just great. The colors were very interwoven, and I like that a lot, so that was nice. I like the drums, the Tang Dynasty drum people, and the Mongolian Bowl Dance, that was cool, the bowls didn't fall, so I'm glad."
"It was an outstanding performance, which expressed culture, and was attractive also, and I love it," Sam said.
