A high percentage of food and produce at the co-op is organic, although enviromentally friendly products, water filtration systems, organic clothing, essential oils, organic wine, homemade artisan breads and cakes, free range eggs, vegetables and fruits, Indian take away foods, Cafe, cheeses, books and magazines are all available.

The new premises has a comfortable seating area which offers a good vantage point for people watching.

On top of this, visitors to the market also have the chance to meet and talk with producers and farmers of the produce.

Entrance is free to members with a two Euro fee charged to the public.

The Co-op was founded in 1983 by some members who altruistically campaigned to prevent the building of Nuclear Power plants at Carnsore Point in Co. Wexford.

Carnsore point is now one of Ireland's first wind generating stations.
