The Divine Performing Arts troupe have left Auckland to perform 11 shows in Taiwan that have already sold out - before they even arrive.

The performers departed feeling very happy with their time spent in New Zealand.

Bilingual host of the Divine Performing Arts show, Leeshai Lemish, said the response from the audience at the end of the evening show at Auckland's Civic Theatre on Thursday was great.

"This was our first time in New Zealand so whenever we go to a new country or a new city who haven't hosted an NTDTV show or a Divine Performing Arts show we always have challenges in terms of the setting up - the local community don't know who we are so people come to find out what's going on," he said.

He enjoyed his first visit to New Zealand.

"Just driving from the airport you see how beautiful these islands are, how fortunate the people who live here are."

"We hope to come back next year... we are going to be touring even more cities next year."

Divine Performing Arts will travel to Taiwan, Korea and then Canada to complete their 2007 global tour.
