Speculation Surrounding the 121 Sawed Human Skulls Recently Found in China

On March 27, 121 human skulls, each with the top of the cranium sawed off, were found in Dawankou, Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County in Gansu Province. These skulls were subsequently sent to the Institute of Biological Sciences in Lanzhou University for authentication. The results were quite shocking, according to the findings by the Institute's Professor Liu Naifa. They were all human skulls of young and old, male and female persons.

According to reporters on the scene, Professor Liu Naifa's first words on seeing the skulls were, "these are definitely human skulls." He later signed a report specifying that the 13 skulls examined were human skulls, and that he would accept legal responsibility for the authentication.

However,a report published on the Chinese communist regime's Xinhua website on April 3 said that the police station in Gansu province did not accredit Lanzhou University expert's authentication as the final conclusion, making this case seem even more mysterious. According to the spokesperson for the police station, a press conference would be held to report on the progress of the investigations.

The Chinese communist regime has not given a conclusive answer to this discovery. Without a doubt, this breaking news will be closely followed by the public. It has sparked off a passionate debate in China amongst Internet surfers. Some Internet users have expressed dissatisfaction on the government's inability to confirm authentication results to date. They feel it is not difficult to differentiate between human heads and monkey heads. Most Internet users are of the opinion that these are obviously human skulls and not monkey skulls. Many people do not believe that these are skulls of tomb raiders. One surfer wrote, "Someone said these skulls belong to tomb raiders, but think about it, none of the skulls shown in the pictures have white bones, they all have flesh, some even have beards. If they were tomb raiders, normally only white bones would be excavated because the human body decomposes easily. To maintain such state of mummification requires special techniques or a certain environment. This incident is certainly strange; it is really spooky!

Some Internet users believe the skulls were stolen from the hospital; some believe the skulls were secretly brought from crematoriums, and the craniums opened for profit. Some people also claimed there were criminals who targeted wanderers and killed them in order to harvest their organs for profit, and disposed of their bodies separately in the desert area. One article on a BBS opined that, judging from the picture, the expression of those skulls looked extremely painful, it could be possible that their organs were removed alive. And others suspected that these skulls could be related to race elimination, which is similar to what happened in Iraq during Saddam Hussein's time. The incident also makes some Internet users link it to the Sujiatun Death Camp unveiled not so long ago, they also said that it could be the result of the systematic elimination of the so-called "Enemies of the State."

Actually, this is not the first such case of sort of large-scale corpse disposal in China. As early as April 2003, over 200 bags containing corpses suddenly appeared on a hill in Xiao Village, Ruian City in Zhejiang Province. According to Shanghai's Xinmin Evening News report on April 6, 2003, a villager named Chen Defang from Xiao village in Ruian City said a worker from a nearby quarry found many nylon bags on the hill. Out of curiosity he opened one of the bags and found a corpse. The local cadres and villagers all came and had a look and the local police were informed. According to the villager's estimation, there were over 200 bags and some bags had two corpses, roughly there were around 300 corpses.

Based on the above information, some people suspect, what happened in Gansu province is only the tip of the iceberg.
