After publishing the article, "The Huge Underground Fortification in Sujiatun" on March 27, 2006, I also discovered an internet article on Shenyang Daily titled "Visit the Underground World in Shenyang," published in 2002. It reported a 1.08 million square meter underground world in Shenyang City. The report did not talk about Sujiatun, so I thought it might be of little use in exposing the Sujiatun Death Camp.
However, when I recently read the accounts of a senior military doctor in Shenyang military district and reports from the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG), detailing a huge storehouse of living people's organs existing in Shenyang, I suddenly realized that the Sujiatun death camps might not be the only place where Falun Gong practitioners are persecuted and have their organs removed. Maybe the underground hospitals in Shenyang, as reported by the Shenyang Daily are also involved in the crime. So I immediately downloaded the report on March 29.
On March 28, the spokesperson of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qin Gang, denied the case of removing Falun Gong practitioners' organs in Sujiatun and made an empty show of strength, inviting media and reporters to investigate in Sujiatun. Nevertheless, after the United Nations special envoys said in March 30 that they would investigate the case of Sujiatun, and Sound of Hope Radio Network also said it would send reporters to investigate the case, Qin's "attempt to avoid rumors" declaration could not be found in any of the official Chinese websites. Not only that, even Shenyang Daily's report on the underground world also disappeared. So I started to suspect that the report might reveal some secrets, or why else would it be taken away in this sensitive time? Luckily, I downloaded and saved the article. So I will point out the parts causing my suspicion here and readers can analyze them.

At the beginning of the report from Shenyang Daily it was written: "The total area is 1.08 million square metres. You can see an endless banana storehouse, a hospital which can hold several hundred people and passages which cars can run on …. Few people know of these facilities because they are hidden underground. This is the Shenyang underground civil defense project, which has been built since 1970. It is still being constructed and developed now."
About the 1.08 million square meters, it reported: "The director of the Civil Defense Bureau, Ji Taian said about 500,000 square meters were built in 1970, and another 500,000 square meters were built in 1990. The utility rate became high in the later period, almost 100 percent." "The value of the Underground Civil Defense is estimated 1.024 billion Yuan (US$123.67 million)." (Another report said the appraisal is 2 billion Yuan (US$241.55 million).)
Talking about the hospitals, it reported, "The rooms beside the long passage were wartime sickrooms and hospital. Many rooms have become warehouses now. In wartime, the dining hall which could hold 300 people, stored shelved goods. Nearly 1,000 people can hide in such a place." The hospital it referred to here seemed to be constructed in 1970, and is no longer used as a hospital now.

However, "According to an official of the Civil Defense Bureau, there is an 'underground world' appearing in Shenyang now. There are car parks, entertainment, markets, hospitals, fuel depots, and equipment rooms…." They seem to belong to the new construction in the 1990s, because only this part of more than 500,000 square meters achieved a 100 percent utility rate and is not used as storehouses.
Then, what are these hospitals which are in use, but not as storehouses, used for? Is this the secret that the CCP wants to cover? If these underground hospitals are used to help patients and save people's lives, the CCP would propagate them by all means. There is no reason to cover them up. If we want to investigate, let's start from these underground hospitals. We'll see whether the CCP will deny the existence of these underground hospitals, and whether it will fabricate records on the running of the hospitals in these years.
