After the communist regime removed all evidence of Falun Gong organ harvesting in Sujiatun, the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (CIPFG) held a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington DC on April 18, demanding a complete investigation into all forced labor camps, prisons, detention centers, custody centers, hospitals, mental hospitals, and related facilities where Falun Gong practitioners have been incarcerated in the past seven years. The CIPFG also invited international organizations and governments to join in this independent investigative organization to work together to conduct a truly thorough investigation into the regime's crimes. According to latest reports from informants, from 2001 to 2004, large-scale trading of Falun Gong organs took place in labor camps in each city and province in China.

Tapes Show Evidence of Widespread Organ-Trading in China

At the press conference, The World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) publicized recorded interviews made at six Chinese hospitals - Central Hospital in Tianjin City, Zhongshan Hospital affiliated with Fudan University in Shanghai, Qianfoshan Liver Transplant Center in Shandong Province, Affiliated Hospital of Jiaotong University in Shanghai, No. 2 Affiliated Hospital of Hubei Province Medical University, and Tongji Hospital in Wuhan City.

On many of the audio recordings, the doctors and staff in the hospital directly admitted to the use of Falun Gong practitioners' organs for transplants. Some even said that all of the organs used for transplant came from Falun Gong practitioners. The following is a transcript of an investigative recording of staff at Zhongshan Hospital, affiliated with Fudan University in Shanghai:

Question: Is the transplant kidney from a dead person?

Doctor: Of course the kidney would be of good quality! How could we provide you with a deficient organ?

Question: ….Are there organs from those who practice Falun Gong.

Doctor: All our organs here are of this kind.

CIPFG said they have collated further evidence and would be prepared to submit these to international judicial organizations to aid in their investigations. The fact that most of the cities, provinces and autonomous regions in China are involved, shows that organ harvesting is a part of the program of criminal genocide directed by the central government.

Painful Narration of Organ-Harvesting from Live Falun Gong Practitioners

Epoch Times Chief Editor Ms. Guo Jun condemned the communist regime's removal of evidence of organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in Sujiatun and the regime's fabrication of false appearances to deceive the international community. A former employee of the Sujiatun Thrombosis Hospital of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine asked Ms. Guo to reveal at the press conference certain specific testimony on the hospital's harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners' organs.

The ex-husband of this female witness had previously participated in harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners. In her audio recording, she said, "It is painful to recall this part. The organs harvested from live persons fetch a much higher price than those harvested from dead persons. In many instances, when organs are removed from Falun Gong practitioners, these people are still alive.

After their organs are removed, some of them are directly thrown into the incinerator and their bodies cremated so as not to leave behind any trace of evidence. For others, after their organs are removed, the doctor would stitch up the incisions and ask their family members or representatives to sign documents consenting to the cremation of their bodies. Some of the family members were completely unaware that all the organs had been removed.

Furthermore, some of the Falun Gong practitioners who came from prisons in other regions were originally in good health, but they were injected with certain psychoactivec drugs making them absent-minded. These practitioners were transferred to Sujiatun death camp where they were continuously tortured until finally their organs were harvested and bodies secretly cremated.

Deeply Remorseful

"I live in painful remorse everyday. If I had persuaded my family to come forward earlier, then perhaps many more people would have lived."

This female witness was forced to divorce her husband because she could not accept that her husband had taken part in surgeries removing organs from Falun Gong practitioners. She said: "I was mentally tormented. If he had not told me he participated in this, I would not believed it. I am not a Falun Gong practitioner and am not speaking with as high a level of morality as Falun Gong practitioners. However to tell the truth, as a Chinese with a conscience, I have been feeling guilty for the past few years."

The witness disclosed in her testimony that there was an entry in her husband's diary: "When a patient lost her consciousness, he cut open her clothes with scissors. A package fell out of her pocket. My husband opened it and found a small box inside. Inside the box, there were a lucky charm with Falun Gong's symbol and a note. It says, "Mommy, Happy Birthday." My husband was extremely disturbed.

Falun Gong practitioner Wang Yuzhi's organs were examined in Wanjia forced labor camp in Harbin, Heilongjiang province. She survived the ordeal and was subsequently released because all her organs had completely deteriorated. (The Epoch Times)

The witness said: "I am sorry. I live in painful remorse everyday. If I had persuaded my family to come forward earlier, then perhaps many more people would have lived. I knew that presently there are still Falun Gong practitioners detained in the hospital. I hope that this incident would be quickly exposed to the international community and more lives can be saved. Also, I hope that my family members can hear what I have exposed."

This witness also hopes that more doctors with a conscience would come forward after listening to her testimonials and help stop this atrocity.

Guo Jun said that Sujiatun death camp is only the tip of the iceberg. In the past month, The Epoch Times had received many testimonials from labor camps and witnesses in China as well as independent investigation organizations in many countries testifying to organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners.
