On October 1, Australian TV channel 9 broadcasted a 25-minute special compiled from different reports about China trying to buy the technology of one of the world's most advanced weapons—called "Metal Storm"—from the United States and Australia.

Metal Storm —invented by an Australian Mike O Dwyer—is a weapon that fires by using electronic technology. It can project 16,000 bullets per second, and could be used on any weapon. The U.S. Pentagon listed Metal Storm as number eight in its 2004 list of "Crucial Military Technologies." China has spent ten years searching for this technology. It knew that if it cannot obtain this technology from the United States it would try to obtain it from Australia. Yang Jun is the Australian businessman who was sent by China to buy this technology.

In the following interview with The Epoch Times, Yang told us his thoughts and some never released details.

Reporter: In a society that embraces being egotistic, how were you able to let such a big business go?

Yang Jun: The most important thing is that after returning to Australia I read The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. If you want to do business with China, you must first understand the communist party. At the age of nineteen when Mao Zhedong died, I've already disliked the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). I did not trust Mao Zhedong, and believed that his death was the end of that evil dynasty. During the Tiananmen Massacre, as a student leader I stood up again in opposition to the communist party. I assumed that I have understood the communist party completely when in actuality I did not comprehend its essence. From 1999 to 2000 when the communists persecuted me, I did not sign any guarantee or repentant statements and maintained my beliefs, so the communists finally let me go. When looking back, the CCP was taking down one group at a time. Because when the CCP began persecuting Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, it started giving overseas democracy activists some tokens of peace. Before that time, the CCP would not give me a visa. Once it started persecuting Falun Gong, it allowed me to return to China.

During my first returned to China I was only given a fifteen-day pass. After my planed landed, I was immediately interrogated by the security for an entire night; this was one of their ways to control me. This conflict lasted three to four years; at the time I hadn't started practicing Falun Gong. However after reading the Nine Commentaries I truly understood the evilness and the essence of the communist party. At the time I owned many big businesses in China, but I felt that I could no longer continue my business with them, and so gave up this job. Australian Channel 9 mentioned someone named Min Qiang; he was the vice-chairman of the foreign enterprise and was among those who gave me the weapon business. Half of China's foreign enterprises are spy organizations; all of them are part of the security unit.

I conjecture that Min Qiang had connections with the military and were helping them do business. I was the "Australian Chinese Association" Chairman at the time, and they wanted to use civilian means to buy the weapons, hoping that it would be sold to them that way. Min explained everything about Metal Storm to me, including the Chinese files, the inventor, and contact information such as the phone number and fax. This shows how powerful the Chinese spies are. Even if you ask someone of the mainstream society in Australia they wouldn't know any of this information, no one knows, this information are held in top secrecy in Australia. However, China knows all of them in detail, and he also told me that profit is very high in this business.

The higher level must have approved this business. If it had not been approved, Min Qiang would not have given me this business, and would have been too afraid to give me all that information.

The Channel 9 Television Network's reporter told me that the United States has a special organization organizing the selling of these military weapons. This organization was very strict, they said that this technology is very secret and would not allow it to end up in the enemy's hands. China knew that they could not get the weapon through the United States, so have their aim towards Australia. They knew that the one who invented this technology was an Australian, and were no longer working in this business, all his rights, technique, and copyright was sold to the United States. The Chinese then began to persuade the inventor, however he was very careful and knew what would happen if this weapon became known to the world and knew how powerful the Chinese communists were. A Channel 9 Television Network reporter once asked him, "Have you ever consider stating your conditions to China?" He said, "No, I've never considered it." This is because when China stated their condition they said, "You and your family would all have to move to Beijing, other than that we don't want anything." Before receiving the support of the Australian government he will not strike any deals with China. This business has not yet started in any Chinese companies.

Reporter: How does the Chinese communist regime treat you, a person who transformed from a leader of the student pro-democracy movement into a businessman doing business in China?

Yang: As I said earlier, I was already on the CCP's blacklist. Hao Fengjun once told me, "Someone like you, whose name is on the black name list, will be under 24-hour surveillance if you return to China." He was right. For example, one time we were negotiating a business deal with an insurance company. Within two minutes of hanging up the phone, people from the National Security Bureau came in asking me whether I was meeting with so-and-so from the insurance company. This shows that my phone was tapped. The spies are everywhere. One year I returned China on June 4, the anniversary of the Tiananmen Massacre. At that time, I thought my return to Beijing might embarrass Beijing government. In order to avoid any issues about this sensitive day and also because I am a Buddhist, I chose a tourist city in China and toured it for two days. After my tour ended, I returned to Beijing. As soon as I got off the plane, my friend called and warned me, "Yang Jun, be cautious." I asked him, "What happened?" He told me one of his classmates is a leader in National Security Bureau. After my friend saw me off at the airport, this classmate stopped him and told him that all of our activities over the last two days had been monitored by the Security Bureau. He also said, "Yang Jun is someone we are paying attention to. We only protect his security. But we need to know what he is doing." My friend told me, "You must be cautious. Don't do anything overboard. Be careful about what you say." This proves that I was under surveillance 24 hours a day in China.

Reporter: When you publicly disclosed China's spying habits, some people might think it is "unpatriotic." What do you want to say about that?

Yang: Actually, the CCP doesn't represent China. This business is conducted by the CCP. I love my country. It is right because I love China, I love this country; I don't want to see this country descend into darkness. I don't want China to play a disgraceful role in the weapons business. Why do I say this? Because once the CCP owns this weapon, it will not bring peace to the world or humankind. Instead, it will only bring disaster to the world. Up to now, the CCP still doesn't have any democracy, nor does it have a real legislative system either. As long as the CCP is in power, people can be illegally arrested and killed by CCP. This is why there are many human-rights lawyers being arrested and appellants being arrested, killed or beaten. Because the CCP's autocracy is ruling my beautiful country, it has created so many disasters, so much damage, including the damage to China's ecology. The disasters are nearly innumerable. "

When we talk about these disasters, it doesn't mean that we are not patriotic. It is only because we love our country so deeply, when we see those dark issues, at this critical moment when the CCP is leading the nation to extinction, any person who loves China, loves his own nation, should stand up to expose the evil. They should tell the truth, because the business they are doing is abnormal; a weapons business is illegal and it is evil. I wish the kind Chinese people could wake up. I also hope those Chinese who are affected by Party Culture could jump out of the circle drawn by Party Culture and could look at these issues with rationality. Therefore, I absolutely don't agree with being labeled "a traitor to my country" which is the CCP's evil definition. I am not betraying my country, I am actually loving my country and protecting the dignity of China.

From ancient times to today, there is a saying "The evil can't suppress the righteous." I openly tell people the whole story. In fact what I said today is no longer secret, it is something that is already known to the world. Only because I was utilized by the CCP at the time, they want to use me as a piece in the chess game, they want to dominate and control me. They want to drag me into the deep water with them, to suffer extinction with them. I feel very lucky that I have practiced Falun Dafa. I can disclose all this and get out of this dark mire. I also hope more Chinese struggle to get free. In fact, the CCP's culture doesn't only affect our generation; it has affected several generations. In the CCP's culture, a most fundamental human rule has been twisted. Human logic has been twisted. Many people ask what would happen without the CCP? Once one reads the Nine Commentaries on Communist Party, one will know about life without the CCP; China will be much better.

When we examine China's five-thousand-year history, the darkest, most brutal time is that of rule under the CCP. Within the short 50 years of the CCP's rule, the number of abnormal deaths has reached 80 million. Qin Shihuang could be counted as a tyrant, but he only killed a few hundred intellectuals. Under the CCP, in one anti-rightist movement, almost one million intellectuals were labeled as "rightists." How many intellectuals hung or drowned themselves? You can easily pick a name: Lao She, Fu Lei, Li Guoquan, a great music conductor, were all persecuted to death during the Cultural Revolution.

In fact this program on Channel 9 is also reminding kind Australians to pay attention to the CCP's dark nature, which has extended to Australia. It is also dragging Australia into a deep hole. If Australia sells those weapons to China, which they should not be, in the future, when China initiates a war, when China destroys world peace, Australia will also have its share of responsibility. Because I have seen this point, I experienced this, I was once involved, if I don't tell, it is against my most fundamental moral values and conscience as a human.

Reporter: How much would you be paid if this business deal goes through?

Yang: The first time, at least 2 million dollars. More payments will be made afterwards. If this business is going well, afterwards, other deals could be struck. It will take lifetimes to spend all the money.

Reporter: Finally, could you please tell the readers about your character?

Yang: At 10 years old, I wrote in my diary, " I am not a nobleman nor a knight; I must rely on my two hands to create everything." In the third grade, I wrote the famous sentence from Beethoven in my diary. Since I was little, I have respected Yue Fei and Wen Tianxiang. I read a lot of classical literature. I think as a human, I must have integrity, be a real man with courage. In the face of ordeals, one should have no regrets. After I started cultivation, I understand a human's life more deeply.
